Recorded positions over time

Andrea Salinas

Where a recorded vote on a bill differs from another recorded vote on the same bill, both records are shown here with their dates, the exact question put to the members, and a link to the official roll call. This page does not say why a vote was cast.

Different questions on the same bill can lead to different votes. Read each question before drawing a conclusion.

Floor statements on bills this member also voted on

These passages are shown beside the votes, not matched to them. A statement and a vote can be about different parts of a bill.

4 measures with floor statements.

  • H.R. 3492 119th Congress

    Recorded votes on this measure

Said on the floor about this bill

    • · House · H5992-H6000

Ms. SALINAS. Madam Speaker, I rise in opposition to this disgusting bill that does nothing to protect children's innocence. It endangers parents, healthcare providers, and children. It allows healthcare providers and parents to be fined and possibly jailed if they help a minor access lifesaving care. It permits Federal law enforcement to act as the national gender police, allowing them to invade children's private medical records.

  • H.R. 1 119th Congress

    Recorded votes on this measure

Said on the floor about this bill

    • · House · H5066-H5071

Ms. SALINAS. Mr. Speaker, I thank Representative Vasquez for yielding time. Mr. Speaker, I rise in support of S. 356, the Secure Rural Schools Reauthorization Act, my bipartisan legislation with Representatives LaMalfa and Neguse in the House and Senators Crapo and Wyden in the Senate. In central and southern Oregon, my district, the Federal Government owns over 3 million acres of forestland that pays no taxes to our local government.

  • S. 356 119th Congress

Said on the floor about this bill

  • H.R. 28 119th Congress

    Recorded votes on this measure

Said on the floor about this bill

    • · House · H126-H138

Ms. SALINAS. Mr. Speaker, I rise today in strong opposition to H.R. 28. As a mother to a former child athlete, I get the need to keep our daughters safe and ensure our school sports are fair. Sadly, there is nothing in this bill to improve the safety of our daughters or improve fair play. In fact, the bill subjects girls, cisgender and transgender girls, to harm and ridicule, and it strips fairness from players, parents, and school communities.

Recorded positions that match

18 measures with two or more recorded votes in the same position.

Method: we compare only recorded Yea and Nay votes on the same bill or resolution in the same Congress, and only on these kinds of question: passage or adoption; conference report; concurring in the other chamber's amendment; overriding a veto; treaty ratification. Amendments, motions to recommit, to table, to proceed or to end debate, and every other procedural question are not compared. Present and not voting are not compared. A vote with no date, no question text, or no link to its official roll-call page is left out. The text of a bill can change between votes; the description on each record is the one recorded for that roll call.

Floor statements are quoted from the Congressional Record as printed by the Government Publishing Office. We have read it from January 6, 2025 through November 2, 2026 so far; earlier statements are not shown. A passage is listed for a bill only when its own text cites that bill. Excerpts are the opening of the passage, cut at a sentence; the full passage is always one click away. Statement pairs appear only after two separate reviews, and every quote is checked word for word against the stored passage each time it is shown.

Votes come from the House Clerk and Senate roll-call records as compiled in the Voteview archive. Votes before the chambers published roll calls online have no official web page and are not shown here.
