Everything the site shows for free today stays free. A plan removes sponsor placements and adds newsletter editions, alerts and data downloads. Member is $8 a month or $80 a year. Pro is $399 a year.
Plans are not open for sale yet. Join the list from any button below and we will email you once, when they open. Joining is not a payment.

Plans renew automatically, every month or every year depending on the billing you pick (Pro is yearly), at the price shown until you cancel. You cancel in PayPal, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. PayPal takes the payment and sends the receipt. Power & Politics never sees or stores your card. Power & Politics is a for-profit business, so a plan is a purchase of a service and is not tax-deductible.

Questions
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time, on PayPal’s page for automatic payments. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then it ends and you are back on the free site. There is no cancellation fee.
Is a plan tax-deductible?
No. Power & Politics is a for-profit business. A plan pays for a service and cannot be deducted from your taxes as a gift.
Who are the sponsors?
Sponsors pay for placements that are labelled SPONSORED. They cannot change, rank, hide, delay or remove a record, a correction or any outlet’s coverage, and we do not take sponsorship from candidates, campaigns, parties or political committees. A Member or Pro plan removes the placements. See funding and independence.
What is free today and stays free?
Every record, poll, rating, tracker, article and newsletter edition that is free today. The paid plans add new things. They do not move anything that is free behind a payment.
How do I change from Member to Pro?
Choose Pro here, then cancel the Member subscription in PayPal so you are not billed for both.
What do you keep about me?
The plan you hold, when it renews and PayPal’s subscription number. PayPal keeps your card and bank details; we never see them. See the privacy policy.
