Why the form is so specific: a bill can receive procedural, amendment, and passage votes. The checker will not silently choose one or turn a vote into a claim about motive.

What we will not do

What this checker will not claim

01

No general “support” verdict

A procedural vote is not silently recast as support for an entire bill.

02

No article fact-check

We do not open links, and we do not rate any outlet, speaker, motive, or the effect of a policy.

03

No verdict from absence

If we do not have the member’s vote on file, the answer is “not established”, never “contradicted”.
