Our audience, from our own counts

We count real browsers with a small script on our own pages. We use no outside tracker and keep no cookie or address. Counting began Oct 6, 2026, so these numbers cover a short period. A sponsor sees every figure, with its dates and how it is counted, in the portal.

Packages and starting prices

These are starting prices set by Power & Politics. They are not quotes: the price on your insertion order is the price that counts, and it can differ for longer or larger plans. A newsletter price is per issue sent. Prices do not include taxes.

Rules for every sponsor

• Every sponsored item is labelledEach placement carries the word SPONSORED and the words "Sponsored by" followed by the sponsor's name. We do not shrink or hide the label.
• Sponsors do not shape coverageA sponsor cannot choose, change, rank, delay or remove any record, story, correction or headline, and gets no early look at any of them.
• No placements beside sensitive newsWe do not show a sponsor on a page or in a newsletter edition that covers violence, a tragedy, a disaster or a death.
• No placements in election coverageNo sponsor appears in the Elections section, on polls, ratings, results, election-week or candidate pages, or in the Elections newsletter.
• No political sponsorsWe do not accept candidates, campaigns, political parties, PACs and other political committees, or ballot-measure committees. Each sponsor confirms this in writing and we check it before a booking is approved.
• Paying readers see no sponsorsMembers and Pro subscribers never see a sponsor placement, on the site or in their newsletters.
• We count with no personal dataImpressions and clicks are counted once a day per booking. We do not store a reader's name, address, cookie or browser details for sponsor reports.

Where a sponsor can and cannot appear is decided by one set of rules in our code, and a test checks them. Funding and independence lists our sponsors.

How it works

1. Request access below. We reply from a powerandpolitics.co address.
2. We confirm your organization is not a political sponsor and send a private link to the sponsor portal.
3. In the portal you see the audience numbers, the media kit, the calendar and the rates, and you ask for a proposal.
4. We send a price and an insertion order. You read the terms and sign online.
5. You send your name, logo, one line and link. We check them, then they go live on the start date, and you watch the results in the portal.
