Recorded positions over time

Barry Loudermilk

Where a recorded vote on a bill differs from another recorded vote on the same bill, both records are shown here with their dates, the exact question put to the members, and a link to the official roll call. This page does not say why a vote was cast.

Different questions on the same bill can lead to different votes. Read each question before drawing a conclusion.

Floor statements on bills this member also voted on

These passages are shown beside the votes, not matched to them. A statement and a vote can be about different parts of a bill.

2 measures with floor statements.

  • H.R. 6955 119th Congress

    Recorded votes on this measure

Said on the floor about this bill

    • · House · H4707-H4731

Mr. LOUDERMILK. Mr. Speaker, I thank the chairman of the Committee for his hard work on this and for including several of my provisions in this bill that is designed for the small guy. I obviously rise in support of H.R. 6955 not only because it is a good bill, but also because I recognize the need to rightsize Federal regulations and gain more transparency into the financial regulatory process. For too long, Federal financial regulators have taken this one-size- fits-all approach.

  • H.R. 5362 119th Congress

    Recorded votes on this measure

Said on the floor about this bill

    • · House · H4473-H4474

Mr. LOUDERMILK. Mr. Speaker, I thank my good friend, the chairman of the Veterans' Affairs Committee for bringing this bill to the floor. As the Representative of Georgia `s 11th Congressional District and a veteran of the United States Air Force, I proudly rise today in support of H.R. 5362 to name the Department of Veterans Affairs multispecialty clinic in Marietta, Georgia, as the Colonel Michael H. Boyce Department of Veterans Affairs Multispecialty Clinic. As he was to many, Mike Boyce was a friend of mine, who unfortunately passed away in 2022.

Recorded positions that match

68 measures with two or more recorded votes in the same position. The 40 most recent are shown.

Method: we compare only recorded Yea and Nay votes on the same bill or resolution in the same Congress, and only on these kinds of question: passage or adoption; conference report; concurring in the other chamber's amendment; overriding a veto; treaty ratification. Amendments, motions to recommit, to table, to proceed or to end debate, and every other procedural question are not compared. Present and not voting are not compared. A vote with no date, no question text, or no link to its official roll-call page is left out. The text of a bill can change between votes; the description on each record is the one recorded for that roll call.

Floor statements are quoted from the Congressional Record as printed by the Government Publishing Office. We have read it from January 6, 2025 through October 29, 2026 so far; earlier statements are not shown. A passage is listed for a bill only when its own text cites that bill. Excerpts are the opening of the passage, cut at a sentence; the full passage is always one click away. Statement pairs appear only after two separate reviews, and every quote is checked word for word against the stored passage each time it is shown.

Votes come from the House Clerk and Senate roll-call records as compiled in the Voteview archive. Votes before the chambers published roll calls online have no official web page and are not shown here.
